Flâneur
As defined in the book Elegant Wits and Grand Horizontals, it’s “the deliberately aimless pedestrian, unencumbered by any obligation or sense of urgency, who, being French and therefore frugal, wastes nothing, including his time which he spends with the leisurely discrimination of a gourmet, savoring the multiple flavors of his city.”

les enfants terribles.
everywhere i go all i order is tuna tartare.
it's my new barometer for judging a restaurant.
it was spicy and had wakame!! very good.
although still on the lookout for a place that makes it better than i do...
the resto itself was pretty cute and the people were friendly.
the bread service was weak.
bread should be served warm!!! how are you supposed to spread the cold butter on cold bread!?!?!?
anyways, i had fun with andrea, i'd go back to this cute little place on Bernard.

venus in furs.
wonderful wonderful book. mikey brought it to me when i was bedridden.
i absolutely recommend it even if you're not into the masochism thing.
and you know what, if you're in a relationship, you probably are.
power struggles in relationships. man woman dichotomy. evocative imagery.
and he appreciates the beauty and splendor of fur.
just read it. it's really fun.
